Judging by the teaser Madeon just released, he is planning big things for the future. I've been sounding the alarm on this 17 year-old French prodigy for a long time now. I just know he's going to blow up once he releases a debut album. I think his remix of "The Island" (below) is his best song to date. For most of his work thus far view my older Madeon Post HERE
*Download Breakn' A Sweat - Skrillex/Doors* - Great quality for an unreleased track. If my dad who grew up in the 70's heard this he would not believe the legendary Doors collaborated on this track. What is the world coming to. Despite working w/ classic rockers, Skrillex doesn't turn down his signature toughness at all for this jam.

3:20 onward in the song above is the reason I started listening to Skrillex, mainly b/c it reminded me of Daft Punk. What happened to this Skrillex? His stuff keeps getting more and more hard, but I'd wish he'd return to this style. Oddly enough this was the first song of his I ever heard, so needless to say, my first impression of his sound was way off from what he's evolved into.
You may remember a post a while back where I bashed Avicii for being too generic and repetitive. I said people only like him b/c hot girls like him. I regret that decision. He's really blossomed into an all star. I'm sorry Avicii. Just when I though you were bad, you go and do something like this, AND TOTALLY REDEEM YOURSELF!
I wonder what would happen if I took my Tecsonic SuperJumbo boombox (above) to Occupy Wallstreet and started blasting Conservative talk-radio. I shall call it "Occupy Occupy Wallstreet."
P.S: Why haven't the Occupy Wallstreeters chosen the Blue Koopa Shell as their official logo yet? It's the ultimate sign of hating on the top 1%.
Don't get me wrong, Bowser's Beats is and always will be an EDM site. But because I run this site, people assume that I only like EDM. False, I enjoy all types of music, but the rate of new releases in the EDM world far outpaces any other genre; so naturally it lends itself to blogging. As a tribute to other music, I am dedicating a complete post to the best acoustic videos on the web. Not a single electric sound here. These vids are the cream of the crop, absolute must-hears that everyone should know about. So start at the top and just work your way down thru all of them. You can't miss.
When man made the guitar, God sent Tommy to play it
Same medley as the first, included both because I can't decide which is better
I don't even know how he's creating some of these sounds. I've never seen anyone play like this

Love the Spanish fingerstyle. This is a study jam of mine
This guy is a god on the ukulele
Still sounds insane but youtube quality doesn't give the song above complete justice. Just buy it.
$$$ This post ends where it began....with Tommy Emmanuel. This is personally my favorite song of the bunch. After listening to secs .43 -1:24, I shouldn't need to explain why I think he's the best acoustic guitarist in the world.
........if you want to learn to play acoustic like these guys, Stewie can teach you.

Some of you may have picked up that this song was originally performed by the genius Phil Collins. I love when obscure artists cook up absolute masterpieces like this.
Personally, this is the type of dubstep I like- melodic and low key. It's sad that the genre has basically become a pissing contest of who can make the most greasy, washed up bass. Dubstep's roots encompass more of a mellow, down-tempo sound. Now artists just slap gritty, unrythmic noises together for shock value. I hate when the genre as a whole gets a bad rep because of this.

Click↓ pointed arrow to DL I don't know what the acronym means but I'm assuming the first five letters stand for "I Don't Give A Fuck." Or maybe it stands for "I Didn't Get A Free Organic Sandwich." Who knows. If you like this track then check out my older post on Beautician 2.0 HERE, which I think is DF's best song to date. You can also DL his remix of "Hit's Me Like A Rock" HERE

Flux comes up with another massive dubstep track, no surprise there. Fortunately, he gives this song a (slightly) softer sound than his signature ear-popping screech.
Since I was just on the topic of oversampling "I get a good feeling,"and because I am in the process of getting a "JurisDoc" myself, I felt this post was relevant. Basically its just Avicii's Levels with even more sampling from PL.
We are reaching a point where Pretty Light's "I get a good feeling" is being over-sampled. But, since we are not there just yet, don't feel guilty bumping this jam. Click↓ pointed arrow to DL
I know Party Rock is old, and most people are sick of it or never even liked it to begin with. Whatever side of the spectrum you fall under, it doesn't really matter because Alesso kills this remix and it sounds nothing like the original. Thankfully, he cuts out all those corny, cheesy, talentless lyrics so that it doesn't sound like it belongs in a high-school basement party.
Download Joe Garston - Reality Check Sick unreleased track featured on the mix above. Better grab this puppy quickly b/c the internet police have been tearing the links down.
Marvin Gaye - Ain't No Mountain High Enough (Van O Remix) Click↓ pointed arrow to DL - Classic Marvin Gaye jam gets an electro-glitch facelift. $$$ Great track from the relatively randon producer Van O
